How Should Women Distinguish Between Beauty and Sexiness?

afrocentric fashion

Dear women,

It seems to me that a lot of you associate beauty with sexiness, confusing them as the same thing. I’m goin’ a little deep on this one, but it’s my belief that “a man will NOTICE a sexy woman, but he will REMEMBER a beautiful woman.”

Feel free to quote me on that.

Sexiness vs Beauty

Sexiness appeals to the physical senses and can be gained or lost in an instant; it all depends on the beholder’s mood and personal preference.

Beauty appeals to not only the physical but also the mental and spiritual senses, rooting itself into the beholder’s consciousness much more deeply when experienced.

A woman trying to be sexy will receive physical attention, but little more…she asks for it and she gets it. A woman who is beautiful without trying to be sexy stands to gain attention of a much healthier quality. Thatz cuz true beauty resonates beyond the temporary (and often artificial) physical.

Afrocentric Apparel Inspiring Children

At AFR Clothing, we appreciate natural beauty and love the way our customers shine for who they are. Our clothing represents ‘looking good,’ no doubt; but by wearing our apparel you also get to reflect the golden person inside of you. And to me, the ‘golden you’ is the ‘you’ that everyone should see.

So to all my women supporters out there, nurture your own inner beauty so that we good men can admire it respectfully – because we DO see it.

And to those who go out of their way to be sexy:

Don’t complain when the average dudes you’re displaying yourself to are approaching your Body and not You.

With love and respect,
