We are excited to introduce the new 2015 Amani Hope Scholars. This year, we are proud to add 10 new Amani Hope Scholars (6 girls and 4 boys – all primary school level) to the Amani Hope Scholarship program. Empowering youth through education is part of AFR Clothing’s core mission. As a brand, we are extremely pleased to see the largest incoming class since the launch of the Amani Hope Scholarship program on Valentine’s Day in 2013. With this addition, the program now has 19 Amani Hope Scholars in 4 countries – 12 in Zimbabwe, 5 in Tanzania, 1 in Ghana and 1 in Bermuda.
AFR Clothing and the Amani Hope Foundation partnered with Smile4Africa to identify the 10 new scholarship recipients. Smile4Africa is a non-profit organization that has been working with orphans and children in Africa since 2008. The students are all based in Chegutu, Zimbabwe and will be attending Ameva Primary School.
Over the next 10 weeks, we will share the profiles of each the 10 new Amani Hope Scholars so you can meet them :).
Special Thank You to all AFR Clothing customers and Amani Hope Foundation Donors. This would not be possible without your support.
